As with any good quality website and publishing company, I am in the process of setting up the online e-commerce platform for Pomerak Ventures products, brought to you by Payhip!
Payhip is an e-commerce platform that enables anyone to sell digital products, courses and memberships directly to their fans and followers. I am at this present time setting up the shop by including all the products (both physical and digital) on the web store, including potential integration with PayPal (but at this present time, it's being difficult due to proving who I am and consistently being booted out and needing to verify phone numbers, e-mails, etc...)
However; when the shop is fully onboarded on the website, I will be launching a limited run of discount codes for my products which YOU can use for my books, and music!
I was broadcast on television after my appearance on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? on the Sunday, that same evening, I was on the front page on the websites for the Daily Mail Online, The Mirror, The Sun, and a few other questionable and quite frankly in my view, disgusting hubs of 'journalism' (worst offender Birmingham Live) sharing a page with Dele Alli which I didn't expect; on the Wednesday I made it to the front page of my local newspaper next to the headline "BABIES LEFT ALONE IN CAR".
The following day, I celebrated what was my 27th birthday (and the 1st anniversary of Pomerak Ventures Ltd) and ventured to Bristol to appear live on BBC Points West with Amanda Parr. Here is my interview, yes I was bricking it because it was live. Copyright BBC 2025.
It's been 8 weeks ago today since Wisdom from a Yellow Suitcase was published and I'm pleased to be able to give some sales figures since the book's release up to the 8 week point!
In its first week, the book went straight in at #1 on the Hot New Releases chart in the Haiku category! and in the same week it was the #11 best selling Haiku book on Amazon and #12 on the Kindle store for Contemporary Poetry! If you'd like to label me as a contemporary poet of my time, I'll happily accept the moniker!
Update on the suitcase for the vaguely interested, the zip mechanism broke and the airline has sent a brand new one to my home address, therefore it comes with great regret that the Yellow Suitcase used in the cover art has now been destroyed; here are some of the original photos for the cover art on the book.
Jack Soley's 4th musical venture is by no means something that will be ignored as this venture takes a major influence and hopes to shatter expectations with his previous musical adventures; influenced by French Touch house music particularly by artists Étienne De Crécy, Alan Braxe, and Mr Oizo; and by the likes of House legends Disclosure, Erick Morillo, and Theo Parrish to name the primary influences for POMMYDAX.
POMMYDAX is described as a conference of House, and Deep Electronic sound with hints of UK Garage, EDM, IDM, with a splash of Techno into the mix. This is intended to be a musical venture that Soley intends to pursue and carry on with in the further future given the level of original commitment for the first Single EP release and the début album in January 2025. The influence of the album was entirely upon Etienne De Crecy's 1996 work "Super Discount", with artwork of the album to match, with an impromptu and later successful trip to Manchester being the basis of Soley's creation of the album entirely.

A book containing facts that invoke a curious mind but are so pointless and random nobody would want to know, needs no introduction.
With 1,000 factoids, I would say with certainty this is the most varied book of pointless facts to be written as of yet, and I would guarantee you won't find another book out there with the useless information and pointless knowledge that somehow is capable of expanding your inner curiosity, for example: the amount of people killed by vending machines annually, a newspaper published once every 4 years, a public artwork scheduled to finish in 11 centuries from now, and the politician who stands to win a fortune if he gets a promotion, to name a few obscurities.

In 2014, I got into many different ventures. I tried various activities such as music, art, and writing, but I discovered that blogging interested me the most. This hobby became my favourite and I focused less on other ventures. I tried painting for a short time, but I got bored quickly. So, I decided to find another hobby to stimulate my growing but weak brain. I hoped to discover something I could excel at.
