2nd Annual General Meeting Summary (29th June 2026)

The summary of the 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Pomerak Ventures is as follows:

- The company agrees to not spend more than 50% of current bank balance at any one time to cut down costs.

- The company re-elects Jack Soley as CEO.

- The company will declare a dividend of £100.00 to be paid out no later than the 19th July 2026.

- The company will consider economic viability of the progression of the music arm of the business, as royalties from music distribution are not covering the costs of the subscriptions to the music distribution services, however this arm of the business can still be continued provided enough funds come from other areas of the business.

4th Useless Facts Book Coming in 2026

3 books on useless information are the biggest earners and are the most popular books that I write; the journey of the books being released came one night in Oxford after visiting my aunt in the hospital on the 11th January 2023. The book had become an immediate success after I decided to press the button to launch the book, it has become a hit in the trivia sections ever since...

Considering that the useless information books are popular and that "Useless Facts That Nobody Wanted To Know" is a popular series with a following, I have made the decision to announce today that Volume 2 of 1,000 Useless Facts has begun! Estimated release may be much later than normal due to so many commitments in the next 12 months (i.e. buying a house and getting married).

I personally anticipate the book to be out by November/December 2026, regulars of this website will have access to pre-order the book before anyone else and as with all of my items on the Pomerak Ventures shop, you cut out the middleman and this will be the same price as elsewhere.

Charity Drive 2025 Outcome

As November has come to a close, it comes with great relief to reveal the sales figures for every product that was bought in the last month; the royalties for everything sold in November will be donated to the Open Blue Trust as stated in our original charity drive 2025 post.

You have bought many books throughout this month and as a result, the royalties for the products sold come to a total of £77.00 exactly!

Meaning that the Open Blue Trust will be receiving £77 from Pomerak Ventures to help continue their vital community work!

Charity Drive 2025 Update

An earlier post in the month, I asked if there were any charities you would think I should support for the upcoming Charity Drive where I would donate 100% of proceeds of Pomerak Ventures books and music sales to charity.

Bluntly, nobody replied to my call so I decided to choose the charity myself... It took a bit of thought but I didn't realise that the charity that called to me the most was one I actually benefitted from when I was growing up, that charity being the Open Blue Trust.

For those who are unaware, the Open Blue Trust utilises a blue double decker bus that travels around rural communities in Wiltshire that provide an outlet for young people, that can help provide social opportunities, and can give people a chance to be creative and learn vital skills that they otherwise wouldn't have access to, this trust also uses the bus to hold community gatherings by many people across North Wiltshire.

Before Pinehurst had a community centre which was completed in 2011, there weren't many spaces for young people to hang around and do things outside of school; due to the new construction of our school demolishing a basketball court and the former Pinehurst Peoples Centre; enter, the Open Blue bus: A double decker bus would be here for about 3-4 hours every Wednesday evening and would come back the following week. I believe this is a trust that would do good with any vital funds raised whether it's reaching more places, getting more technology and/or goods for the bus, or if it's even maintaining the bus, this is a charity which has given to me when I was around 12-13 years old when I wasn't in the best of states, so I'd like to give back.

The Open Blue Trust is a registered charity with the Charity Commission of England & Wales.

Jack Soley with Graham Rogers on BBC Radio Wiltshire (17th & 18th March 2025)

My first proper appearance in the media where I was involved with someone (rather than being documented in some tabloid) after my appearance on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? on the Sunday, come Monday afternoon when I almost finished my shift at my new workplace, I was on a phone call with Mr. Graham Rogers that was live throughout Wiltshire and Gloucestershire documenting my time on the programme where I won some cash, on a show sat opposite none other than Mr. Jeremy Clarkson.

Because it was live and I didn't quite grasp how bad stage fright can be until my second appearance, the first interview was over the phone while I was at work and the second interview was the following day, except I was chatting with Graham in the studio, he's a cool guy and had no idea he used to be on TVS, the more you know! Charity Drive 2025

This November, I will be setting out to do something good for the community from my book and music sales; this is something I'm prepared to do to show that Pomerak Ventures is a happy to support good causes that help people who support my business!

Which is why for the entire month of November, I will be donating 100% of sales revenue to a charitable organisation! There are many good causes but I'd like to hand it over to my readers of this website and customers of my products to suggest a charity that I should donate this fund to.

The charity in question should be registered with the Charity Commission in England & Wales and I'd like to have a little piece as to why you think I should donate the proceeds of Novembers' sales to that charity in particular. The charity will be decided in the final week of October.
